Paper Reclaim offers a service to clubs, schools and community groups seeking to raise funds for their organisation. Waste newsprint and magazines are commonly found in households and businesses and is easily accumulated for sale to assist with fundraising activities.
Recycling newsprint ensures that an important resource is not wasted. Manufacturing with recycled waste paper saves energy and water and produces less air and water pollution than manufacturing with virgin materials. There is strong demand in New Zealand and overseas for waste paper for remanufacture into various forms of packaging such as cardboard boxes, egg and fruit trays.
Organisations that would like to raise funds through the sale of newspaper and magazines have the option to:
- deliver the newsprint and magazines directly to Paper Reclaim's Auckland or Whangarei processing plants
- coordinate with Paper Reclaim to collect newsprint and magazines from your organisation when a sufficient volume has been accumulated
- have Paper Reclaim supply the appropriate bins or containers for the storage and collection of newsprint and magazines
