In addition recycling plastic makes good environmental sense. It is increasingly important to use resources efficiently. Recovery of waste plastic for reuse into new products conserves non-renewable raw materials, uses less energy than that used to produce virgin plastic and creates employment and businesses opportunities.
For over 10 years Paper Reclaim has provided specialised services to small, medium and large organisations offering the collection of a wide range of plastic materials.
Many of the recycling systems are designed and made to suit individual needs. Factors taken into consideration include size of organisation, working space, plastic volumes, plastic types and site access.
There are many different types of plastic. Most are identified by a plastic resin code on the product. This code has numbers from 1 to 7. To identify the type of waste plastic you have for recycling refer to the plastic identification code.

Paper Reclaim also offers the opportunity for individuals and organisations to deliver material to our processing plant. Where volumes are sufficient Paper Reclaim will purchase this material. The drop off service also assists customers who do not need a regular collection service or generate occasional volumes of materials.
